| So I borrowed my brother's digital camera for a while which is pretty cool. I have a picture of myself and my new car but I haven't uploaded into the computer yet. I'll get to that later since I'm really lazy. Got all my books for BCC today, which is cool. They should be here in a week or so. The reading book for my english class is about whores in New York in the mid to late 1800's or something like that. Fun. What else...? Oh, my mom and I are going to the Melting Pot on Saturday since we didn't really do anything special for my birthday this year. The place is pretty expensive but the food is really good. | | |
| So...I have a car now. Got it for my birthday, which is today (August 8th) for those of you who don't know. My car is a 1999 New Beetle GLS in yellow. It's got a great plate too which reads BUMBL B. The brakes had to be replaced so I don't get to pick it up until later today, which is perfectly fine. That's about all that's new. | | |
| So, went to Wild Waves on Tuesday and went on that new Zooma Falls thing. It's fun but really not worth the wait it takes to actually get an a 'tube and then the line to get up to the platform. I got burned like it's nobody's business but the upside is I got to miss class for a few days because I couldn't put my clothes on and wear them with out screaming pain, basically I've been stuck in a tank top for the last couple of days. Another good thing about it is that I'll have a killer tan when I'm done being all crispy. Not much else going on besides that. | | |
| Well, we've fininshed painting the kitchen and got the border up and now we're working on the upstairs living room which we never use. Fun times. Not feelin' so great to do, kinda sicky. Probably just a summer cold. | | |
| Going fishing on Friday with my dad and brother which should be fun. There will be no restrooms within a one mile radius so I'll be going all natural when it comes to such things. Fun.
The new Harry Potter book comes out this Saturday and I'm excited out of my mind. We'll probably go pick up our reserve copy after I teach on Saturday morning as the Borders will be open all night I think. We could go at one in the morning...but I like to sleep.
Nami and I made plans to go to Wild Waves next Tuesday which will kick some serious ass. They've got that new Zooma Falls thing I've been wanting to go on. This means I must go bathing suit shopping again as my stuff from last year doesn't fit anymore. I'm thinking bikini this year but with guy shorts (no, not those little tiny ones) for bottoms. I'm really self-concious about my rear so...yeah.
Been driving a lot lately which is good as I need to take my driving test sometime in the next month or so to keep my strangle hold on my parking spot at BHS. Oh yeah, Tae Kwon Do news. Tuesday night I was sparring with a guy friend and I jammed my fingers pretty badly but I do have a spiffy bruise on my middle finger on my right hand. It's bound to happen considering I usually fight open handed. Oh, and I got to teach most of a class all by myself tonight. Which is a good thing. And my master/instrucotr said I was doing good at teaching which is an even better sign. Oh, and Tuesday night I was judging sparring matches and the one guy I mentioned earlier kicked someone square on in the face, which is a big no-no. Yeah, just thought I'd mention that. Crap, I forgot to call Carey back. Must do that in the morning. | | |
